  On 30 September 2008, Landsbanki signed an agreement with Straumur-Burðarás Investment bank to divest Landsbanki's corporate finance and securities brokerage platform in Europe.

  On 1st July 2008, Mr. Guido Hupe was appointed the new local Head of Sales (asset management, Germany) at Landsbanki Kepler. His arrival further strengthens the existing sales team, with particular emphasis on the successful rollout of in-house sales activities.
